"Building Bridges: International Collaboration Through Digital Platforms"
Scarborough Secondary School is fostering international connections through digital collaboration. Students and teachers now engage with peers worldwide via virtual exchange programs, webinars, and collaborative projects.
Recent initiatives include a joint environmental project with a school in Japan and a virtual debate competition with students from the United Kingdom. These programs provide invaluable cross-cultural experiences and broaden students’ perspectives.
“Technology has made the world smaller,” says Geography teacher Mr. Alan Grant. “Our students are learning to think globally while acting locally.”
Plans for future collaborations include an online cultural exchange with schools in South America and a virtual science fair featuring participants from five continents.
